Samuel Hough (12 July Wallingford, Connecticut[1] - 26 Aug 1776 Meriden, Connecticut ) was the son of James Hough (1688–1740) and Hannah Clark (1691–1717).
On 7 Nov 1734 in Wallingford, Connecticut he married Mehitabel Royce or Rice (2 Sep 1712 Wallingford, Connecticut – 25 Dec 1774 Wallingford) daughter of Samuel and Hannah (Benedict) Royce (also spelled Rice).
